- Open Settings — Click Settings in the top bar, or Activate your license when the shortcut is displayed.
- Find the “SQLmig License” section — The License Key field is available when no license is active.
- Paste your key — Enter the key you were provided, then click Activate license.
- Wait for confirmation — Once the license is accepted, SQLmig exits restricted mode, and the migration/import features become available.
Offline use
After a successful online validation, SQLmig can continue validating the license offline for up to 30 days. An online check is then required to renew this period.
