- Check “Rename databases on the Target” — A destination name field appears for each selected database.
- Edit names individually or in bulk — The buttons let you add a prefix or suffix to all selected databases.
- Review the validation message — SQLmig blocks blank names, certain system schema names, duplicates, and names exceeding the allowed limit.
- Start the import — After a successful import, SQLmig remembers the name mappings for this Target and can suggest them again during a subsequent restoration.
The Reset button restores the original names.
