6.1. Choose the Source server

  1. In the list of servers, click “Source” — You can also drag the server card into the Source area.
  2. Make sure the Target area remains empty — A Target is not necessary for a backup.
  3. Wait for the databases to load — SQLmig displays the server’s application databases. System schemas are excluded from the selection so they are not treated as application databases.
