7.1. Choose the Source and Target

  1. Place the source server in Source — Use the Source button or drag the card.
  2. Place the destination server in Target — Use the Target button or drag the card. The server must have Target authorization.
  3. Check the compatibility message — SQLmig immediately checks the Source → Target route.
  4. Reverse if necessary — The ⇄ button switches Source and Target. SQLmig checks the reverse direction again.

Security

Source and Target must be two different servers. A server with the Target role disabled cannot receive an import.
