12.3. Protect access to SQLmig with a username

  1. Open Settings → Application Authentication — Check “Require a username and password.”
  2. Choose the username — The default is admin, but you can change it.
  3. Set a password — The new password must be at least 10 characters long.
  4. Confirm the password — Enter exactly the same value in Confirmation.
  5. Save the settings — Subsequent protected access attempts will require these credentials.

Don't lose your credentials

Use a unique password and keep it in a password manager. SQLmig authentication protects access to the interface but does not replace the security rules for your SQL servers.
