Check the following:
- the server name and SQL user are provided;
- the selected MySQL/MariaDB type and series actually match the server;
- the host, port, or socket are correct;
- the password is correct;
- if TLS is enabled, the certificates and verification mode are appropriate;
- a compatible SQL client is available.
