9.5. Launch import

  1. Check the Target and the selection — Make sure it is the correct server and the correct databases.
  2. Address the analysis errors — Any detected error must be fixed before considering the import safe.
  3. Click “Run import” — SQLmig prepares the operation and then displays its progress.
  4. Follow the phases — Depending on the size of the dump, you will see the dump verification, Target preparation, SQL import, server-side finalization, and then the final database verification.
  5. Wait for the final confirmation — When the import is complete, SQLmig checks that the expected databases exist on the Target.
