7.3. MariaDB Migrations and Cross-Engine Migrations

SQLmig enables logical MariaDB migrations as well as migrations between MySQL and MariaDB. However, it displays warnings when engines or versions may differ in terms of collations, storage engines, table options, or certain SQL features. Always test this type of migration on a copy before an actual switchover.
